Alternatively, if it is because I escaped most of the jeering comments or arguments this year. Whatever the reason it does not feel like Christmas. It does not feel like anything at all.
Christmas seem to get more bland each year to me. Everyone else seems to love it as much as ever though. Even with everything going to hell in a handbasket.
The real problem seems to be is everyone is a cynic. It's so easy to be "doom and gloom".
The easiest way to get people to listen is to scare the fuck out of them.
Headlines screech horror and fear at us, the news is dark and depressing with that one smidge of happy thrown in at the end. we arealmost force fed pessimism. Yum.
Right now, I dare eveyone to be happy for a while. see how good it feels. Say something nice, rather that angry. Cynics sound smart because there is so many of them, we think they are right. Optimists are so rare they seem crazy.
Bitching hasn't worked, so why not give doing something to make it better a shot.

To capture a great photo it can't be fixed the way one desires it to be. To achieve a great photo one must be patient and wait for it to come to them.
